The lawn mower uses two 18 Volt LXT batteries for continuous operation and the 4-bay battery system holds four batteries for twice the run time. It is equipped with a Makita built motor to deliver up to 2800 RPM for faster cutting. The quiet mode setting aids in minimizing noise by offering constant speed control at 2300 RPM. It is packed with ease-of-use features like quick height adjustments, mulching capability, and a commercial-grade steel deck for increased convenience. The mower features Makita Extreme Protection Technology (XPT), a protective seal inside the tool to safeguard tools from water and dust. This XPT technology is engineered for improved operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust from key internal components. This mower features Star Protection Computer Controls communication technology, which facilitates tool and battery to exchange data in real time.
